Scanners sometimes feed pages in the wrong order. Chapters need reshuffling. A double-sided scan interleaves odd and even. The Rankato Reorder tool gives you a full grid of thumbnails you can drag into any sequence, with quick actions for common reorderings like reverse, split-and-merge (for interleaved scans), and shuffle-by-pattern.
Drag-and-drop grid
Every page shows as a thumbnail. Drag any thumbnail to a new position. Hold Shift to move several pages together. The grid updates the new order live so you can plan a big reorganization before committing.
Quick reorderings
Toolbar buttons for common patterns: Reverse all, Move first to last, Interleave (turns 1,3,5 + 2,4,6 into 1,2,3,4,5,6 — great for two-sided scans done in separate passes). Each action is undoable.
Bookmark remapping
Bookmarks are remapped to point at their new page positions. External links inside the PDF (page references) are also updated. Annotations stay attached to their original pages, wherever those pages end up in the new order.
