PDF metadata drives how documents are indexed and displayed — the title appears in browser tabs and library systems, keywords influence search, and author is often required for compliance. The tool exposes every standard field (info dictionary + XMP) and lets you clean up messy exports from Word, Google Docs, and scanners.
Standard fields
Title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer. These appear in Acrobat's Document Properties dialog and are indexed by library systems and search engines.
XMP metadata
Advanced XMP fields for compliance workflows: creation date, modification date, custom Dublin Core fields. Toggle the XMP panel to edit these directly.
Strip mode
One-click Strip all removes every metadata field, leaving only what's structurally required. Useful before sharing scanned personal documents that might reveal system info via metadata leakage.
