Modern PDF forms use AcroForm — a standard for interactive fields (text, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns). The Rankato Form Filler detects every field, presents them in a clean UI, and saves your values back into the PDF. Choose editable (recipients can change values) or flattened (values become permanent page content).
Field detection
Every fillable field in the PDF appears in the sidebar with its label (from the field's tooltip or nearby text). Text inputs, checkboxes, radio button groups, dropdowns, and multi-line text areas — all fully supported.
Save modes
Editable: values are saved into the form; recipients can change them. Flattened: values become permanent page content; recipients can view but not edit. Pick flattened before sending finished forms.
What about XFA forms?
Some PDFs use XFA (Adobe's legacy dynamic form format) instead of AcroForm. XFA support is limited across viewers and this tool only handles AcroForm. If you see a message about "missing form fields," the PDF likely uses XFA — try the Convert to PDF (via print) trick to flatten to AcroForm-compatible content first.
