Signing PDFs is the most common one-off PDF task. Three signature modes
Draw: sign with the mouse, trackpad, or stylus on a signature canvas. Type: enter your name in one of several signature-style fonts. Upload: drop a PNG of your handwritten signature (transparent background works best).
Placement
After creating the signature, drop it anywhere on any page. Resize by dragging corners. Add a date field automatically, or type additional text near the signature. Multiple signatures on one document if you need initials + full signature.
Visual vs. cryptographic signatures
This tool creates a visual signature — the mark appears on the page but doesn't cryptographically bind the document. For legally-binding e-signatures with audit trails and certificate-based signing, use DocuSign, Adobe Sign, or a similar service. For everyday contract signing (leases, agreements between individuals), a visual signature is usually accepted.
